I got the problem with my Revox G-36 . it play normal by it own but as soon as I try to connect it to my amp the house circuit breaker went off .
any body know what could cause it ? look like an earth issue or some things ?
Thanks in advance .
Follow Ups:
Do not touch the chassis on the G36 and your amp at the same time as there probably is mains potential between them. Sounds like the chassis on one of them has become hot. Use a meter to check between chassis and mains neutral and ground and find which is the culprit. Could be a interal wire thats lost its insulation and shorted to the chassis or perhaps someone has worked on it on the past and inadvertantly miswired something.
Thanks
I will check that out .I did a quick test between neutral to ground and hot to ground but it show no continuality or short .
will check for insulation on the wires .
Thanks

You didn't mention what must have also been a hell of a spark when you connected the two together. If so there SURE is a not a grounding issue, but somehow one of the chasses must somehow be "hot", i.e. connected to the hot side of the mains supply. Use a voltmeter and check for AC voltage between the chassis of either to the mains NEUTRAL.
