I was sent an e-mail notification to pay for my classifieds. The e-mail had a link attached for me to access. I have tried repeatedly over the course of serveral weeks and the link seems to just go nowhere. It just eventally times out. I has also tried many times to cancel an ad. Same thing. As there are ads there from a couple years ago, I assume I'm not the only one with this problem. Now the Asylum has sent me an e-mail saying my ads are being suspended for non-payment. GOOD! Now maybe that subwoofer I sold back in '01 will be removed. I would love to pay for my ad's if only I could. The Asylum classified section was a great idea but I'd have to say, as it currently exists, well, it's a mess. Do you maybe have an address I could send a check to?
Follow Ups:
It tough to say without seeing the url and knowing more about the problem. You should have been able to reply to the email to get help as well.To Cancel, you simple click on MyAds, login and you'll see all your ads. Click on Cancel to cancel one.
You'll also get a link to billing history and payments. That does works.
When you click on the link for payments, you should get a login screen and then links for payments. It's possible that the database was down when you tried it which would cause that problem. We also changed the scripting language at one point, but all the links should have been transferred to the new version.
Anyway, the mailing address is:
Audio Asylum
PO Box 626
Vista, CA 92083
Same link, same result. I'll mail you a check.
Thanks,
Merle
Weird. What browser and OS?
so the problem seems to be on your end. Are you using IE 6.0 as a browser on Windows '98 or lower? This combo can give glitches in secured server apps.
... I'll sent it over to the Support Forum.
