The links in the "Classic" HTML are specified as relative (NS7 likes this), whereas the "Threads" links are base (NS7 doesn't like this[?]). That's the only obvious difference to me.
Follow Ups:
I added a base reference to the header so that the links to messages would be identical to the Classsic view. does that workaround the problem? If so, then I'll update the production version after I rework the header routine to be sure that other apps don't get broken.
Does the trick. I hope you don't do this just for me. For those of us who use dial-up, the Threads views load much faster than the longer Classic pages. Trickier to use AA when you can't tell what you've already read. Must be a NS7 quirk or bug, I have no idea if this is a very new release, it was what was offered at the Netscape site. Thanks.
Great, it's a simple fix. I just updated the production version.
Hi Rod, It seemed to be there for a day or so, and now is gone.
