You need a utility to create a favicon.ico. I found one that I can't remember on Yahoo to convert the image.
Follow Ups:
I made www.integracoustics.com/favicon.ico using ... axicons.exeMy OS does recognize it as an 16x16 icon.
I even tried the redundant ...
(head)(line rel="http://www.integracoustics.com/favicon.ico")(/head)
... on the MUG homepage index.html to no avail.. What am I doing wrong?

It worked for me. Did you fix it?
"Disk Cleaner" was somehow running/self-starting in the background even after rebooting several times. This must've immediately deleted the avatar icon. Why it left my stored ones alone is beyond me. Anyway, I was running real work when I noticed something gobbling up CPU time. A quick jaunt to "Task Manager?Processes" showed that the cleaner.exe was indeed running in the background because it wasn't listed in "TM?Applications". Who knew? Thanks for removing the impossible thereby limiting my problem the merely improbable.
;^>PS: so ... do you like it?
