Hi,
I am putting a second system together for my home office/library.
Also were I can play 'harsher' music without disturbing the family...
It should be musical and accurate yet forgiving of bad recordings.
I am down to these two, also considered the Reynaud Twins, but have not heard them.
Thank you for your recommenrdations.
Follow Ups:
I am not familiar with the Twins but between the other two the Kans would be my first choice for rock. In fact, when set up properly, the Kans have extraordinary bass and drive for their size (small). The 3/5 would be better on jazz, chamber music etc.
Dont dismiss the the Linn Index speakers. They have handled almost any type of music I have thrown at them perfectly. They can be had in the used marked usually for under 300.00. Its amazing how much Bass these little buggers throw off !
S3/5 cant do rock n roll unless done with sub.Twins on the other hand is more adept for that as well as other types of music. An all arounder.
