Try the LDSG index at: http://www.snippets.org/ldsg/intro.php3This will give you the most info on many kits side by side.
You really have to give more info since we don't know what your tastes are. I have not heard most of these but they generally get the best press. My DIY list if I were kitting:
ACI Jaguar with Titan LE
MB-1 from murphyblaster.com
STS from Selah
North Creek
GR ResearchP
Follow Ups:
Similar to this, living room 15x15 (this is the main room)+ dining room 15x10,kit 15x15 & nook 15x9 , open cathedral ceiling (14' at the dining/kitchen wall-this dividing wall is 8', open above), mainfloor of a bi-level.
I like vocals Teddy Pendergast, easy listening-piano music, jazz- Ella, Count, George Benson, etc& light rock-Chicago, R&B/Soul-Temptations, Earth Wind&Fire. Quite a mix, but No head banging Hard Rock. I've got solid state & tubes.
I've been to their website, nothing on kits for sometime. Must have ditched DIY.
Subwoofers.com is another company that Mike Dzurko is involved with and it seems he has turned the DIY over to it.
Thanks Tom, I'll check it out.
