My current cables are MIT Terminator 3/PBJ/Canare, but I feel they don't mate well with my Von Schweikerts - they seen veiled, conjested, image poorly and farty bass. I need 1 digital cable, 3 pair interconnects and 2 X 8' runs speaker cable (system is bi-amped: SS on bottom, tubes on top).I am considering Harmonic Technology (especially truth-link interconnects), JPS Ultraconductor (I am a sucker for a bargain), Acoustic Zen and Analysis Plus (especially Oval 9 speaker cables). What else should I audition?
My budget is $1300, so I will not be able to upgrade all at once.
Appreciate any thoughts from others/Von Schweikert owners.
Thanks, Chr3is

Chr3is, I was using termiantor 2 interconnects and as I recall MIT 750CVT(?) speaker wires on my VR-4's when I tried Stealth cables. I'm now using their CWS interconnects (shielded version) and "PC" speaker cables (bi-wired) which fixed ALL of the problems your having. If you're on a budget, try the interconnects first, you'll get the biggest improvement there! I can't recommend the Stealth digital cable I tried which wasn't shielded and was very prone to electrical noise. I'm using DH Lab Silver Sonic for digital which is excellent and inexpensive.

I'm using AP 9's with VR4's, from a Spectron M2 amp, and I must say I'm quite happy.KP
Albert uses Analysis Plus in his new VR5 and VR7's for internal wiring. I've used the Coincident CST speaker cables with good success. I've also used Home Grown Audio Silver Lace interconnects. You can order them for a free in-home trial. Nothing to lose there.
