Hi Felix or fellow inmates:
Im in the process of getting an amp for my SC2 Dunlavys, At first i was very intrested in importing a BAT tube amp from the states.(n/a here in my country),but considering the expenses its over my budget.
I was recomended the Bryston 3bst. From looking at your system and knowing that you,ve auditioned some BAT amps from threaded archives please talk me about what you,ve find Bryston amp your choice for your system and specially the synergy it aquires with your SC5. Unfortunatly since i live in a rural area and beacause national Bryston dealer dosen,t have a loan audition policy its imposible for me to do a home audition with my system. Thanks for your input, regards Cardani

I always find that there are TOO MANY threads and posts in Audio Asylum--it can get so confusing.I doubt you'll have trouble finding the posts at Audio Outcasts.
Best wishes,

Funny how the AA software changed my link title and sent you to Taco Bell. Anyway, go to AudioOutCasts (.com, of course) and you'll find Fear, plus a whole bunch of great people. See you there.
If you have trouble finding it, send me an e-mail sgazzojr@aol.com

If so, why bother with the Bryston/Dunlavy behemoths? Get a Sonus Faber Amati Homage and an Aurora Viva for less than they cost in the US!
While being cheaper, they aren't actually that cheap:
the Auroras are about $16000, IIRC, and the Amatis are about $15000. If you import from here, you may eschew VAT, but we do pay for it...

No Mexico, European gear is far more expensive here than American or Canadian. I agree those Sonus and Vivas look awsome on magazines unfortunatly never had the chance to audition them. Regards Cardani
