Has any one had the experiences of hearing Merlin speakers driven by Jeff Rowland gears? Or who can image how the Merlin will sound when driven by Jeff Rowland amps? Or more specific, VSM-MM driven by model 8TI, or 8TI-HC? In my 3 years merlin listing I knew Merlin likes tubes very much. That's seemed a pity as I do long for the SS amp's dynamic and punches. So I guess an SS amp with tube taste can be a good match? The Jeff rowland model 8/8ti/8ti-hc has the reputation of clasical warm sound in tube smoothness would so be a good direction and choice?
My gears: vsm-mm + joule LA150 preamp + bam + all cardas cables

hi paul,
rowland has always been one of my favorite ss amps for sure. and with your pre and cables, this should be a very good match for you. i would like you to e-mail me at bobby@merlinmusic.com so i can find out other things from you about your system like what the sources are, what tube amp you have used and single run or bi-wired cardas cables.
i just want to make sure we can micro tune the system in the way you want it to go and i have many things to suggest.
thank you.

tks Bobby. Your comments for sure give the confidences.
Excellent solid state choice. I demoed the concerto integrated in my home system and had I chosen solid state, I would have bought it. Outrageous prat!
