Hi,
I need your help.
I just picked up a pair of Klipsch KG4 speakers (good price). I discovered one had a replacement (non orginal) horn that rattled. I need to locate a good replacement, preferably an orginal klipsch horn ( the driver and lens). Unfortunatly, Klipsch informs me that they do not sell the entire horn, only the driver is available!! (how's that for customer service!)Anyone have a suggestion? Where can I find such an item? new or used. E-bay had nothing when I checked.
I would consider another horn or tweeter, but have no idea what crossover is in the klipsch.

I have a pair of KG4s also. Here's a question for you speaker buffs. I bought them for 100$. I don't know if the guy I got them from had an ex girl pissed or what, but in each speaker the bottom 8" driver looked like it was cut with a razor blade a 1/4 of the way around the bottom of the speaker. (not sure the technical term..but the part that keeps the driver from flying out when bass hits) I repaired them with this crazy glue stuff that never hardens and stays flexable. So far its worked like a champ. That was about 2 years ago or so. Now..first, would that make much difference on the quality of the sound compared to a driver in perfect shape? The repaired drivers move as free and easy as the good drivers. Just kinda curious. Second..I saw someone say that replacement drivers are high priced. I've looked but have never found any, used or new. Where can I get 2 and would it even be that much of an improvement over the repaired ones i have?Sean
P.S. - I know theres lots better speakers than KG4s, but the sound quality of these speakers just blew me away. What would be a good match for them so I can run 4 speakers instead of just 2 without compromising the sound from matched speakers?
I checked with parts express, no real good match seems to be available that fits cabinet opening. Klipsch stuff is propritary - so I think I need second hand / salvage parts.
You did not mention what exactly is rattling. I know of other Klipsch owners who have glued their speakers back together. Evidently this is a common problem on older Klipschs. You might also try Parts Express for a totally new horn.
wait till those original woofers go out. the cost with klipsch replacement parts is more than the original price of the speaker. try e-bay that's what i did.
