Warm and cool are higly relative, as we both; and highly dependent on both experience and electronics. To begin with, I had not yet heard Reynauds or Audio Notes when I wrote that. And to follow up, that generation of Blue Circle electronics (especially the AG3000) was a bit cooler than BC gear are today. (The Solfege was so incisive sounding it was soon thereafter removed from the Audiomat line.) I am curious how I would find the M30's now. To repeat my favorite personal audio cliche, experience changes experience.
