Below is the link to the Room EQ Wizard home page. I think you have to register at hometheatershack.com to download it.For microphones, the Behringer ECM8000 is popular. There's also an inexpensive Behringer mixer that can be used as a microphone preamp. It is the "XENYX 502". PartsExpress.com has these. There's a dedicated Room EQ Wizard forum at hometheatershack.com also.
We always used Bruel & Kjear (B&K) and General Radio (GR) in the lab, but I'm guessing these might be more costly than your equipment. For practical speaker work an RS meter should be more than adequate. Your fooling yourself if you think you're measuring anything in the 20 kHz region except in an anechoic environment.
