Who was Stuart Hegeman ?" ...Speaker designer & one of the first engineers to design a chip based preamp that sounded great at its time
Who designed the Rectilinear 3A ?" Richard Shahinian
Follow Ups:
I thought it was Jim Bongiorno that did thr Rectilinear 3A's ?
Great on Stuart Hegeman, it was called the HAPI 1
Stuart was Dick Shahanian's mentor.
I thought I read somewhere that Richard Shahinian designed the original Rectilinear IIIs and Bongiorno did the IIIA.
You could be right!
I know each of them designed Rectilinear's, WHAT ones is a good guess ?
From an interview with J. Bongiorno on TNT Audio: "I then got hired by Rectilinear Research ... to redesign the Rectilinear III loudspeaker (and the VI and the X also). This I did .... "
