I did a lot of research on the C7 before I bought mine, and discovered from talking to people who had sold theirs that their faults were decribed in contradictory ways. So, what you get from them will depend a lot on how you set them up, height and distance from each other and walls, and the room, etc, and on your own expectations.________

Follow Ups:
need to get some stands. will start of with something about 16 inches and add some mdf board underneath until I get the optimum height.
Harbeth used to make matching wooden stands that were effectively 17 inches. I use 16 and tilt them back just a tiny bit to get them so the tweeters are aimed at my ears.

Thanks for the tip about leaning them back a tad. I'll give it a try.
