If the aesthetics bother you (after the rubber cement job), a new woofer, including shipping, shipping, and duty would run you around $200-225. Not too bad, all things considered. I sell replacement drivers for JMR's pretty regularly, most of the speakers getting along in years (or more often, attacked, like yours). JMR must have cats, as he keeps a goodly supply!

Thanks I'll be in touch.
Bob,
I have Offrandes that are the version just prior to when you first reviewed them for Enjoy the Music. I believe yours were sourced from the newly assigned distributor at the time, Fanfare, and mine were from the last batch supplied to OSS. Thus I believe yours in for review then had a slightly modified woofer from mine.Does he keep woofers , tweeters, parts, etc. in good supply for all of his various incarnations of each speaker?
Just curious as I love the speakers and if something were to go, I would love to not have to worry about a potential sonic change other than going through break-in for the replacement part.
Though I haven't asked about the supply recently. I just keep ordering parts, give them the serial numbers, and the drivers come. At some point...oh well, let's not think about that yet.
