Do any cheap subs come with good feet? I'd take the solid rubber ones on these over the hollow plastic feet that came with the $250 Hsu sub i ordered 2 months ago anyday. At a higher price point do you get better than the $20 per set Dayton cones from Parts Express?
wait, these subs come with those too....you have to look at all the pics on his site. there's a link to 'More Pictures' under the sub listing on the Bizzy Bee site.Once i outfit the subs with Mapleshade footers (if that ever happens) i'm gonna have a garage sale on cheap metal footers. it'll make 6 sets of crappy heavy brass footers that I own. maybe i can sell them all to get one pair of Mapleshade's???
these subs do look a bit cheesey, i'm relying on the reputation of this guy's other products a whole lot with this purchase.
I'm tempted to post a pic of the amp inside my Hsu sub compared to the pc of the amp inside the subs i just ordered. that's where the REAL story is here.
buy local!!!

In fact I'd like to own an HSU myself.

i shot myself in the foot with the Hsu pruchase, should've purchased a larger one. In terms of internals (amp, construction & acoustic material)...the hsu leaves a lot to be desired though. Maybe the larger units are made better? dunno. As long as these new subs don't rattle (cabinet issues) i can probably tweak any other part. most likely going to add good acoustic material from a local sp builder friend. My Hsu has thin fiberglass insulation in it and the amps' tranny is 'bout the same size as a C battery. after opening it up this weekend I decided to try another brand...then came across the (hopefully) good deal through TAD.
You dont need thick fiberglass inside of a sub enclosureIt means nothing on the design and HSU has a good rep
