$350 for 2 - 12" subs & amps that look decent, i had to give this a try, been dyin to hear deep stereo bass. the owner's good reputation has been reported often on the 'net as well. his shop is only 30 min from me too, helps.there's really only 2 locations in my room for the subs now, but will be moving soon & may get more options then. they can go side-by-side in the area where the single sub sits now, or in each corner about 5' behind the speakers. only problem with this is one of the corners is not a true corner..its a 45 degree angled window that's 6' wide. the other corner is the $ spot for the single sub, best sounding part of the room.
if they have to go side-by-side in a corner, how do I point them left or right??
should be fun though.

there's no boom whatsoever with just one hsu sub. and, once its dialed in you can't 'hear' its location.I realize adding 2 larger driver units might be opening a can of worms though!
the michael green audio Room Tunes Deluxe kit has been awesome so far, for this budget o' file. the new subs might test the RT kits' ability to control bass though.
My room is such an odd shape. hopefully i can get each of these behind a speaker and not set them side-by-side.
Matt,Corner positioning a sub almost always result in boomy bass. Not to mention one tend to hear the sub as a distintive object where bass is coming from, drawing your attention to it. Can you put one each behind your main speakers, and experimenting with firing the subs away and towards each other? I wold think two subs in a corner side by side as you describe would be boomy hell, very localizable. But do experiment and report back, thanks. Have fun!
