You are generally correct concerning the order of impact/importance. My enthusiastic Accuphase recommendations are due to the fact that I was never truely happy with my systems, as well as those made/sold/reviewed by others until their inclusion! Not only did these components satisfy my lifelong quest and persuit of reproduction done right (accurate, linear, Transparent AND musical), it changed the way I listened (for the better).
I'm not going to pretend that Accuphase components are right for everyone. My goal is only in making people aware of their existance, and to answer questions about them when appropriate.
To answer your final question, being truely linear, they make every source component sound truer and more realistic than with others, varying only upon the capability's of the recording and component.

Guess reading comprehension is not high on your list of priorities.
The only Accuphase equipment I have been known to sell are used units that I had aquired!

Come up to me with your 'what did you say?' and I'll tell you straight in the eye: DIY
Now what was the question? :)
