A. you did not mention the brand of the speakers..
(Logic would dictate you would inquire with the manufacturer first)google is your friend...

I am a little curious where B,C and D went though. ;)

Lesse....one response from a complete moron who's advice is:try www.psbspeakers.com ......GENIUS!
then two more responses confirming his idiocy (or...need for optomology exam to determine which portion of his head is defective), and nobody answered my question!
Awesome!
For any kind soul who stil has any pity/knowledge for me (and some familiarity w/ PSB speakers preferably this model), I'm really looking for a website that sells parts for speakers, and then the model # of what i can just 'drop right in'. I realize this is a longshot, but hey, this IS the Great AudioAsylum!
!
Why do you say that?I went and picked up some used Infinity Intermezzo 4.1 speakers (w/ 850wpc active bass in each) that are a MUCH better pairing w/ the Sunfire. I'm really happy w/ their sound (for the price) and they will shutoff if over-driven (forget what this tech is called).
It looks like i just need some epoxy to re-glue my cone on the 6T and they will be promoted to the bedroom speakers (where I never need huge volumes). Right now I have some Rega R1 bookshelf in there so it will be interesting to see if the 6Ts sound better (Naim 5i amp).
