Hello there,I am looking for someone, or somewhere, to have a 25' pair of the round Polk Cobra cable terminated into (2), roughly 3' speaker cables consisting of 8-parralled cables each. If you can help me with a source that could provide such a service I would be greatly appreciative.
My best,
Follow Ups:
...thanks for the flashback.I owned 2 pair of these for my bi-amped Dahlquist DQ-10/subwoofer system back in the late 1970s.
They had high capacitance and had been known to fry some unstable amps.
In the early 1980s (I was using Fulton Gold by this time) Moncrieff in IAR recommended them, IIRC, for high frequencies twisted with some Romex cables for the rest. At this point, they hadn't been made in years.
Good luck finding any, much less configured as you described.
The later versions of the cable had built in circuitry to protect less than super stable amps.
