An old fart with YEARS of experience too.
David used to be a reviewer for TAS, one of my favorites way back when.
I kind of find the Wilson Ad's reassuring, seeing David listening to his speakers.
Not that I can afford Wilsons ....Many high end designers are pushing, or past 60 years of age.
Old Farts making speakers for Old Farts.

Absent harmful sound exposure, it's not clear that hearing is impaired by age. Studies of primitive populations without noise exposure suggest noise is the culrpit.
........ Of course you are suggesting a speaker designer doesn’t in any way fit into this category?
I’d like to see the research that suggests a sixty year old who lives in a western society has better hearing than a sixteen year old. (you got a link?) The hearing ability of primitive populations is rather irrelevant in this thread.Smile

Primitive populations? So by that you mean populations that listen to Kenny G. and bad mouth John Coltrane?
