Has anyone else here failed to receive tubes they paid for from tube seller superpeter on ebay? I thought I would not have any problems with a power seller, and am wondering about others' experience?
Follow Ups:
I'm happy to report that I finally received the items I ordered, two pairs and one single tube, clean and well packed and in very good condition!
Power Seller status is awarded simply for any seller that averages over $1,000 in sales per month. There are other criteria too (must maintain a reasonable feedback, be in good account standing, etc.) but it is really not a foolproof safeguard against being scammed. That said, how long ave you waited? How did you send payment? Does the auction specify ETA for delivery of goods? etc. There is not enough detail about your transaction to decide if it's on the up and up or may be indication of foul play.
I paid through paypal for the auction ebay item and another paypal payment for another item I inquired about which was not an auction item. It has been 6 weeks, after not receiving the items after a few weeks passed, another email promise to ship, then another couple of weeks and another promise to ship. Still no receipt.
I'd civilly tell the seller that you've been more then patient (6 weeks is a long time) and that if you do not receive payment within the week, you'll have no choice but to file a report with Paypal. Paypal has a terrible arbitration process, but it always favors the buyer, so you're in better shape then he is. The seller probably knows this too.
