I baught a Rane Xover on eBay and the guy would only accept BidPay which, as I understand it, is the internet version of Western Union. It is owned by Western Union and just like the walk in version, they just send the cash. They do not get involved in the transaction. Cheers.
Follow Ups:
Bidbay/Western Union is as unsecure and dangerous a way to pay for a transaction as they come (short of sending cash).
Why is that Len? I'd like to because I have stared using them instead of paypal. Thanks for any information you can give. Cheers.
Western Union is a money transfer service and should only be used to wire money to a trusted partner. Bidpay requires signing for an account an they then send a check. It is different and safe. I have used it numerous times with far better results than PayPal. Someone hacked my card info through PayPal and signed up for a bunch of porn sites.
