I son't think you are going to get any reassurance. Pay, wait 8 weeks or more to get the TV?....... LOL "when is a deal not a deal".8 weeks goes by, the manwhatadeal folks are sippin' drinks with little umbrellas in 'em and wiggling their toes in the sand.
Meanwhile, back in reassuranceland..........there's no TV!
Best,
otari :-)
My mother-in-law, after seeing the Levinson 33H amps in my listening room: "Those are the nicest electric room heaters I've ever seen".
Follow Ups:
I ordered the "deal of the week 9" weeks ago, still no plasma screen. I searched and found these postings, I also found a fellow in El Paso that was the high bidder of a the 61" plasma screen for $5,000.
He did get some of his money back, same as "the deal of the week price" about $3000 with shipping. That was last Sept (04) 6 months and still no screen. I cancelled my order, he did too. We both have had no response from Manwhatadeal team. Jason Kay is the webmaster and owner. I called Visa, they gave me his home phone #, he wouldn't answer his cell phone. No response from him as yet. I spoke with his wife I believe. I'm waiting the paper work from visa now to file a claim against him. If you want more detail or email about this guy I have them. DON'T BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE.
I read, with interest, that there are other people out there who have been ripped off by Jason Kay aka manwhatadeal. He clipped me for a sizable sum and I am looking for others who have been defrauded by this clown. We have some different avenues open to us to get some satisfaction. Please contact me at sbsrq@comcast.net
Manwhatadeal.com has not been able to delivery one plasma screen ordered, but has made many promises or excuses for non-item-delivery. It seems he has different visa customer charge names, because visa did cancel his account in California. I can only guess why! I found that out from another contact after placing the first followup. I now have received a letter from his lawyer saying I should only contact them directly and not Jason Kay or manwhatadeal. Does that sound like an honest business? I guy in Canada has been waiting for a plasma screen from him since Oct. last year. So, if you want to rid yourself of 2,000 buck send it to me, I'll at least send you thank you. Ed Weikert
