They are both similar in prices. Please share your experience if you have used them. Thanks.

A couple notes here:1) The two transformer with known large primary inductance (which makes for greater bass extension and less bass distortion) are both described as having "mushy" or "loose" bass. I can't help but suspect this says more about the system than the transformers.
2) No mention is made of burn in. It has been my consistent experience that transformers open up spectacularly in the course of something like 50 hours of (relatively loud) music. I don't know how new the various transformers were, but without that knowledge I would be very cautious about any subjective comparison of transformers. Generally I hear a "veiled", "constricted", or "lifeless" sound from new transformers.
Used them both, preferred the James. I compared tehm in the same 300B circuit. The James was more "musical" to both myself and others who I could rope into listening including a friend who is a musician. Not by a big margin, mind you, but still the James came out on top. I also prefer the cosmetics and the solder lug arrangement.
Thanks Steve. I will go for the James then.
