Hello Ola PetterI would consider Audio Note copper caps. They better the Jensens on sonic grounds and are reasonably priced (copper, not silver).

I have read many posts about the problematic nature of Jensen caps. They don't have a good reliability record. AN stopped using them a while back and make there own in-house.
Another one to consider are the Mundorf caps, which also sound good and have a superb reliability record:

You had 800V *plus*the ac signal. The LF signals in your parafeed amp could well have exceeded 1200V.
Then again, never a bad idea to treat voltage specs conservatively as you suggest.
