Since most of the power is needed for the bass drivers, by as much as 5 - 10 times that required for mids in my experience. IF, you have a small room and IF, you used a powered sub (not easy to do properly without severely muddying the water but possible with a steep filter) then you may actually get away with it IMHO. In this setup you would be better served by limiting the LF drive from the 845s to your LFT'8s through a Crossover ... easy to do if they have bi-wire facility (I'm not familiar with them).
Follow Ups:
It seems like the 845DT is a good design but may not be powerful
enough for the LFT8's . My listening room is small . ASL has the
805 model that pushes 50 watts of power . The 805 model does not
seem to be as popular as the 845 . I could purchase either amp -
just not sure if the 805 is a step down in sonic performance . I do
not play these speakers loud .
Thanks for all of your help !!
I really hoped that my 50-Watt SETs would be enough for the 8s, but they weren't.The 8s are indeed biwirable/biampable.

If so, how much power. This could just make enough difference in a smallish room ... and then it depends on your taste in music and spls. But I agree that if you are forced to compomise to any great extent you've really gotta love the the LFT8s.
...200-into-8 poweramp. Again, the main poweramps drove 'only' the MR and treble panels. But understand that the 8s are VERY insensitive and need lotsa power. The 120 Watts per channel from ASL Hurricanes in triode were adequate for me but I'm sure would NOT be for some listeners.
The 8s are indeed great-sounding speakers that are great values, but they need POWER. 22 Watts would be woefully inadequate unless one listened at VERY restricted levels and/or in a very small room.
