Pardon the toobie noobie question, but what's the difference between 300B and 300B/n? (What does the "/n" designate?)
Follow Ups:
The Full Music 300B/n is the mesh Plate 300B with gold pins and a ceramic socket. You can check out the various Full Music 300B at http://www.fullmusic.de/datasheets/overview.htm
Brent,
Thanks for the info. However, the links on the Full Music page to the datasheets for the 300B and 300B/n both point to exactly the same file, so there's no difference in specs. Does anybody know if "/n" just indicates mesh plate, or is something else different between the two?
It has been a while since I visited the Full Music website. When I bought my tubes, Full Music offerred the following:300B - solid plate
300B - mesh plate
300B/n - mesh plate with ceramic base and gold pins
300B/n Gold - meshplate with ceramic base, gold pins and gold plated gridIt would appear that suffix "n" is now used to denote the mesh plate and that they no longer offer a nickel pined mesh plate 300B
Thanks for the clarification
