Follow Ups:
I always have to laugh when I see someone criticize Neil's voice. He is THE man in my book. He might have taken a leave of his senses with "Living with War", but he is such an icon that I can forgive him that one. You and DUI both have completely missed the mark on this one. I can understand him though, he is just an idiot.......
Hey, you'll never hear ME criticize NY's voice or singing! My sarcasm was directed at DUI, he's been pretty vocal in his distaste for certain aspects of NY. Plus, only DUI would respond to a NY post that has FAN in it, when he's made it pretty apparent he really isn't much of one. Maybe a song here and there... He's amazingly consistent in these thing, DUI is. Whatever..."Living With War" bummed me out with those half-assed post production elements. "Living With War - Raw" removed those production flaws and presents a much more honest, ernest recording that isn't nearly as corny or grating. I think it's a much more satisfying listen now, not great, but MUCH better. That also hasn't yet come out on vinyl, but if you're a NY fan it's really worth a listen. IMO, he "redeems" himself with the Raw release.
Now, what he can to to salvage "Are You Passionate" I just don't know...

Hey Musetap,I am a rabid NY fan, and I actually LIKE Are You Passionate. True, it's a depature of sorts for Shakey, but I find it very refreshing.
