I'm coming to the reality that although Mexico has been notorious for crude rock acts, its best is as good as any country outside of the UK.... At least in recent time.... I just keep running into hidden gems from there....This band apparently came out in the 1980s.... And once again I got bowled-over.... Band sounds like Soda Stereo with better musicians and better lead singer.
Follow Ups:
Sorry Todd, but this band is Spanish 100%. Big succes from years ago.
The band is indeed from Spain.
Pot, kettle.******

> I look at that list, and I think it was more the young lifestyle than the music that once motivated you. (Which is the case for the vast majority of people.) For I think none of these bands really have much in regard to a musical element that would sustain interest as their fans grow older.

for something new. I stumbled on a station that was playing this incredible jazz/rock group. They played a good 20 minutes straight. Commercial time comes around, and I discover I had tuned into one of the spanish-language stations. I've never been able to find that same station again.Every so often Univsion (in the LA area) will broadcast a program showcasing some of Mexico's finest rock acts. There are definitely some very, very good ones. Of course I don't stumble into those all that often. My wife usually thinks I'm looking for something else when I go there. ;~)
