Why does how good an album is have anything to do with whether it is legitimately labeled Tears for Fears?? Apples and rodents.ie., Could it have been labeled Tears for Fears if it wa REALLY GOOD but had neither Curt or Roland?
Follow Ups:
Hey, The Who is still calling themselves The Who even though Keith and John are gone.

Is Curt the Spock of the duo or something?
... where the debate about England's 3rd goal is meaningless because the referee gave it as a goal despite the footage showing that the ball seemed to not cross the line, so here, If Roland owns the name then he can and has used it.
The album bears the TFF name.
End of story.
If what you are actually saying is that you prefer the music TFF made when they were at heart a duo, then that's fine.
But, so what?
The world has moved on. And so, for a while, did TFF.
