I recorded that on VHS from when it aired. I used to watch it over and over. That tape is MIA now, thank you so much for that link! The Youtube video and audio are nice quality too for what 1986?

OK I've been sitting here watching. Up to about the fifth time now. That's Marcus Miller on bass and Don Alias on percussion (w/cool shades)
I can't see the drummer but it sounds like Steve Gadd. Who else is in the band?ET

Yep- It's Omar. Wikipedia set me straight. There is a complete listing of all years/episodes and the only time Don Alias was around Omar was the drummer. Also it's Tom Barney on bass not Marcus. Marcus was in earlier years this was later, 89. The Wikipedia link has all the shows and all the guests. MM Ohara was on show 208. Catherine Oharas sister, who remembers Lola Heatherton from SCTV?ET
