By now, the word is out the MTV is reviving it’s unplugged music show and that Korn has already taped the first episode to air sometime in February.Aversion had a few details, including The Cure’s appearance on the program — with the two bands performing a live mash-up of Korn’s “Make Me Bad” and The Cure’s “In Between Days.”
The first single, I’m told, will be a cover of the Radiohead classic, “Creep.”

At a time when plenty of bands record and tour on two, three, or four year cycles (sometimes more), Korn remains one of the hardest working bands around. Last year they followed up the release of a greatest hits package and tour with Linkin Park with See You on the Other Side, a tour (which I caught with my 10-year-old Child of the Korn) and the revival of their Family Values Tour, which they headlined.
This year might prove even busier. The band is gearing up to release their 8th studio album and have plans to take the Family Values thing on the road again this summer.
When they do, they’ll be without original drummer David Silveria, who is said to be on “hiatus” — supposedly looking after his restaurant and spending time with his family.
And — from the You Heard It Hear First Department — you’ll never guess who is taking Silveria’s spot behind the kit, at least for one album and tour.
None other than the legendary Terry Bozzio, long considered one of the greatest drummers in rock history, though he might be most famous for forming and leading the 1980s L.A. new wave act Missing Persons, fronted by his wife Dale Bozzio. Terry had played with everyone from Frank Zappa to Jeff Beck to Robbie Robertson.

Follow Ups:
Hmmmm. Very interesting. Terry is old enough to be their father. BTW, Dale is still HOT!!!!!!
It's pretty common knowledge here in L.A. that Silvera left because of his severe drug addiction. Bozzio was Jonathan Davis' choice.I wonder what Silvera thinks, now that someone who can ACTUALLY PLAY DRUMS is in the band.
I had no idea she sang w/ Zappa.I remember seeing MP in LA a long time ago. Dale missed a cue, and got a pretty disgusted look from Terry. Pretty unprofessional. :^D
Whose single does this refer to?
