Don't assume anything you don't know, please. Ask if you are not sure.
The word "cables" generally is taken to mean "speaker cables"; very, very few are shielded.Interconnects sometimes are shielded, but even then the listener is free to switch.
Now I shall return to the happy state of knowing there's no further need to pay attention to Jack-asses.
