i am assembling a 4-way system and now looking for a 2" exit driver to complement a 12" Precision Devices midbass driver and 18" PD1850. Any suggestion? would like to crossover the 2" driver at around 500hz - 5khz and quality is more important than qty, btw, will also add a tweeter to the mix thanks!!

The rest of the brands you mentioned are all quality drivers; it just comes down to price, preference, availability, and design goals. If you're avoiding titanium for the mids, then you have choices from RCF, BMS and Selenium, just to mention a few. Choices, choices...!
You may want to check out Selenium drivers, also. They are a bargain compared to JBL, etc, but with equal quality. For 500-5k, my favorite is the D405, using a phenolic diaphragm. Very natural midrange response. If you prefer titanium diaphragms, then the D4400Ti (or cheaper D405Ti) work well. If weight is an important factor, the new D3500Ti (Neo) is good, but more expensive.
How are the phenolic diaphrams compare with titaniums? the Phenolics will sound more natural and warmer than their titanium counterparts? I checked out site and would like to order the D405 phenolic and the tweeter with a phenolic diaphrams too, any comments? Do you actually use the D405 in your system?
I find the sound of phenolic diaphragms sounds smoother and more natural in the mids than the titanium ones do. The tradoff is in extension. The phenolic diaphragms roll off in the high frequencies, where the titaniums can go to 20k in some drivers. Since you want to use tweeters as well, that is not a problem. I found that even where the drivers extend to 20k or so, if you are using a horn that allows a 500Hz crossover, then the highs beam so much that you need a tweeter anyway, just to get decent dispersion, so I prefer to go for the smoother midrange of the phenolic driver. The D150 phenolic tweeter works well, if the 60 degree pattern is satisfactory. I use the D405 bi-amped, crossing over at 5k passively to the D150. The D150 rolls off above 16k or so (typical of phenolic tweeters), but my hearing is only good to about 13k now, so no problem for me. The link is good, and drivers are in stock. Just to keep things ligit, its my site.
I just ordered it from your site but having problems with the shipping, the shipping is going to cost me more than the drivers. BTW I am Marcel Yu and writing from the Philippines, any comments on my existing Beyma CP650ti compared with the D405? Kind of a bit excoted to hear the phenolic drivers, I heard JBL 2482 and 2410 drivers which I think has phenolic diaphrams and found it very sweet and warm, will I expect the same from the D405? The guy who used the JBL2482 and 2410 drivers are using exactly the same tube amps as mine. thanks for the advise, am still trying to find a better way to ship the drivers,
Yes, I am Ron. Shipping internationally is quite expensive. I will see if I can locate a distributer of Seleniul in the Philippines.

I will check. USPS (post office) may be much cheaper than Fedex or UPS, but probably slower. Stay tumed.
You might also consider the BMS 4590P coaxial 2" exit compression driver, which would automatically add tweeter to the mix on the same HF horn, and will easily go down to 500Hz. The crossover point from the larger diaphragm to the smaller one is 6.3kHz, passive. You can also skip their passive X-over and save yourself the extra $20 if you are already set up for a 4-way active system. If you're unfamiliar with BMS, you can check it out at www.bmspro.com (Germany) or on the US distributor's website at www.assistanceaudio.com.
