Steve, thanks very much for the reply. Of course, your DACs/converters use I2S just as well as Wavelength use I2S (I use Gordon's Bricks at home). Without your website I wouldn't have started reading about I2S ;-)Aside from you and Gordon who are very straightforward about your ideas and implementations, it is difficult to find out, how the DA conversion is implemented by a particular manufacturer. Take the whole Lavry - upsampling controversy for example. I am still not sure whether the Lavry does upsample every incoming signal or not...

try emailing him before blowing off his product.. it's a great product, direct i2s and a good value. He's upgrading mine now, and I'm upgrading to the 4xac PS from the stock.. i'm excited to hear some improvements to an already nice DAC.i know i sound like a shill, but seriously, i just love the thing.
