Does anyone know of measureemnts made on the waveform of the Big Ben? I am considering one but slightly suspicious of digitally generated square waves, having seen a few that are BAD.
Follow Ups:
I've not measured it, but I have heard it in my system. For transports it really works - reduces the jitter noticably.
Have a look at the clock output. DDS may be dodgy See

Measurements are interesting and a good starting point, but I like to let my ears do the deciding when it comes to jitter. Sometimes I think larger jitter, but modulated in certain ways may be essentially inaudible....
I have tried many jitter busters; sometimes they improve sound, sontimes they don't.If there is a doubt about the C777 clock, I don't want to spend the money!!
ps: the ear is not reliable, it can vary over time; mine does ie you hear an improvement, further down the line you find that this is not so!! Applies particularly to jitter busters.
"ps: the ear is not reliable, it can vary over time; mine does ie you hear an improvement, further down the line you find that this is not so!!"This is so true it makes me laugh! :o)
