I still say hard drive space is cheap enough to keep everything .wav
FLAC still has to do more converting right before it plays... yes? than a .wav file. Everytime i shut down a process on my laptop I "hear" an improvement, maybe cause i only have 512 of mem...
.wav for the, well, maybe not win, but for the safe

But you can't tag .wav files.
Cue sheets do a nice job and function well enough for cover art and lyrics. If you don't need some of the tagging info..lets say you just want a few play lists and want to play entire albums, they work just great.
BUt yes, if you need to rate songs and albums then you need tags.
Hi there. Thanks, but I will be sticking to FLAC. I run my music on my home PC which is plenty powerful - it has no issues with the decoding at all. Also, I did some testing this weekend of WAV vs FLAC and I cannot hear any difference. Perhaps others out there can, but personally I do not. Most importantly though, FLAC supports tagging which is a big benefit over WAV.
