Sorcean,I suspect that it must go through the K-mixer. I will have to e-mail Burwen for an explanation. Too bad he doesn't have trial software. It's $200 bucks-if you don't like it, your stuck with it.

No trial version? Hmmmm, sounds fishy to me. No thanks.
While I also wish he had a trial version, it's understandable. Trial versions can be cracked fairly easily and the software can get loose on the net for free. I wouldn't call it suspicious. On the other hand, having a number of lossless before and after samples on his site would be really helpful to his business and our ears.
Yeah. I can understand that. I will probably buy it. I really think we are just scratching the surface with computer audio. I mean, if your system or speakers are lacking in this or that why can't you use a DSP program to compensate? If you need a wider soundstage, no prob. If you need more depth, adjust it. I mean, am I dreaming here or is this posible? I really don't see why not. I think computer audio is going to make high-end audio affordable for everyone. Now, I'm not talking miracles here but if you have a solid "mid-fi" system I could see how a good computer program could put you in the big leagues. ?
