But the two digital out/in AES/EBU connectors are not on the same port of the card as the analog outs.
To my way of thinking you would need a set of two, and a set of 6 - that should widen your options a good bit.
For my digital out to the BSS xover, I'm just using neutrik plastic male/female and cat 5 - using a twisted pair for 1,2,3 leaving a pair unused.
Working great for the digital, anyhow.
A buddy of mine that is the engineer for several radio stations told me they do AES/EBU digital runs of several hundred feet with cat 5 and no problems.
I had plenty of CAT5E on hand, and some unused xlr connectors so I thought, why not? Sounds great to me _grin_

I wasn't refering to the AES/EBU digital outputs, they are fine for my purposes currently. Actually, since buying the card, I am setting up my system quite a bit differently and using the card in a different manner than I originally intended. The DACs on this card perform very well.
I was referring to the analog input and output breakout. The LynxTwo B has all of the analog inputs and outputs on the same breakout; six outputs and two inputs.

  Thought you either hadn't bought the card yet or had it on the way.
  Plus, I'm just using the digital in/outs. My analog breakout cable is still in the box. Obviously, I barely looked at it_grin_

Cat 5 is not the cable to use as, for one thing it has the wrong impedance and you will get bad reflections of the signal at the connectors.
You need to use good 110 Ohm aes/ebu cables.
Ironoic that ,esmatch impedance can sound good because of system mismatches!
