Hey there gang:If anyone is using a Revo 7.1 (ASIO) with the Thuneau Allocator could you PLEASE tell me how to map Foobar or Winamp directly "in".
Right now, when I select "M-Audio ASIO driver", the 8 outputs show up all fine and good. But for INPUT... it shows the two ANALOG INPUTS!!
Sure I could run Foobar or Winamp 'analog out' of another card using kernel streaming and then pipe it back into the Revo's inputs... but an extra D/A and A/D conversion step? EGHADS!! BLASPHEMY!!
It's too bad. That Revo worked liked a dream for dozens of crazy combinations of players, crossovers, and plugins and now it won't "behave" for Thuneau. Or maybe it's the Thuneau not behaving with the Revo! ;)
I do have virtual audio cable, but the Allocator seems to want to use the same card for both inputs and outputs. Why can't it get it's inputs from ONE source and use a card (independently) for it's outputs?? Almost all PC based audio software works this way.
Sigh.
It's a really cool crossover though! And with PHASE ARBITRATION to boot! I gotta get this working. I just gotta!!
It does seem that the Allocator has been tested on some specific cards. Perhaps some more beta testers are needed - I should sign up as one.

I don't think I can help you here. I got it to work with my M-Audio 410 (pci), but I have six inputs listed: Analog in 1 & 2, SPDIF In 1 & 2, and Mixer In 1 & 2. Mixer in worked fine but I guess you don't have it available.

I will try it with my M-Audio 410 ASIO drivers and see if I can come up with something.
