Hi,I am using Foobar's asio-out dll with the LynxTwo B card and Lynx asio driver. Everything sounds great but Foobar *always* crashes when playback stops; whether the playlist ends or whether I hit the stop button. I have tried downloading the latest Lynx drivers and there is no difference.
Please note that the above problem does not exist with the M-Audio asio drivers and the M-Audio card.
I tried the kernel streaming output of foobar. Foobar does not crash when playback stops, but the crossover plugin does not behave well with the kernel streaming output.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Follow Ups:
I dunno if I'm using asio or not _grin_Used it for the first time yesterday _bigger grin_
anyhow, if I leave it paused or stopped for a long period - 20 to 30 minutes or more - it hangs, locks the OS up and I have to reboot.
A,
I have never had a problem like that...with 08.3, or 09.3.Does it behave this way regardless of whether the crossover plugin is in play or not?
Perhaps it is a Foobar set up problem. Go thru' the whole thing again and set either 32 bit or 24 bit padded to 32 bit.
Hi FmakIn preferences, under which heading do you change this setting
Thanks
