You can get something like the ESI Quatafire 610, Firewire interface, 24/96, $400. S/PDIF and AES/EBU, no ADAT. There are a lot more Firewire ADC products available than USB.But you can get something with higher specs, like the RME ADI-2 ($650), if you can do without USB or Firewire.

hi,Tks for the suggestion, but I have no idea how to link the S/PDIF and AES type to the PC for digital recording. Does it require a converter to convert it to fire wire and how?

You would need a soundcard for the S/PDIF or AES/EBU receiver, like the RME Digi/96 PAD, for the ADI-2, nothing else for the firewire or USB items.
