Go to Foobar - Preferences - Core and set Process Priority Class to "Real-Time". Then close Foobar and restart it.

The "Core" preferences and "Priority Class" are only available in foobar 0.8.x. If you use 0.9.x then you need to use TM each time as far as I know.If you do use 0.9.x also go to Preferences --> Advanced --> Playback and check the 2nd last option: "Thread Priority". Should be set at highest (7) which is the default anyway IIRC.
Yet another reason to stick with what sounds good.
Thanks. I had found that setting, but didn't get it. I had it set to one thinking that one was more of a priority than 7!
