There are NO reviews on the EMU0404.The M Audio 'Audiophile' card is crap. It is lying somewhere near my bin. I run RME and Lynx cards which are far far superior in operation and sound. Don't believe what magazines say.

I'm also interested in buying your crap. How much does it go for?
I had a similar experience with the Audiophile USB when I first got it...it ended up sitting in my closet for about 9 months after I got it.But then I heard there were new drivers available a few months ago and I decided to give it another try...I was very glad I did. It was the best sounding digital output I'd tried with my computer up until that time (I personally compared it to an E-Mu 1212M with up-to-date drivers).
Also, as I've pointed out in other threads, there have been comparisons made to the digital outputs on the Lynx and they've been found to be nothing special. I think this card is most widely used for (and expensive because of) its many digital inputs and the included software and drivers that support the complex mixing required for all of those inputs.
The M Audio 'Audiophile' card is crap. It is lying somewhere near my bin.Do you want to sell it ? How much does crap go for these days? You in America ? I got one & could use another. Fine for my 2nd upstairs system.
