But you must have right sound card and/or dac.

OK.THe Lynx 2 does seem to support this resolution.
Are there any settings I should know about?
Are you playing 24/192 .wavs?
0.8.3 with 0.47a Asio SSE2. The settings in Plat Priority; Asio Buffer; Real Time Mode etc all subtley affect sonics.Outboard src via dCS 972 noticeably better than src in Fooobar.
C3 1.3 G CPU not powerful enough for Foobar upsampling.
C3 1.3 G CPU not powerful enough for Foobar upsamplingI am not upsampling in the player, but create upsampled files on another computer for playback.
09 won't play the files at all, but 08 will, there is just no sound.
THe LYnx mixer reports 192 for the clock, but there is no sound.
Just has a look at the hardware spec for Lynx2. Supports 192k analog in/out but only 96k digital in/out. Not sure what it means. Suggest you ask Lynx. Also see if your CPU supports the version of ASIO out you use in Foobar. Normal SSE oe SSE2. Use CPUID to find out.
Hey Fmak,I am using the analog outs, and there is no sound.
I don't think I have a choice on the asio driver, as I only saw one for 09.3.
I did use cpuid and have what I think is the right asio for 08, but that doesn't output any sound either.
COuld it be a buffer setting or any other setting?
You must select the correct asio driver for your CPU. In your case, take from .bin either noram or sse depending on what cpuid says about the instruction set.
THe new version only has one asio dll. NOt different versions like in 08.
Try playing with output format first; use 32 bit fixed output 24 bit seems not to work on some setups. Don't lock the clock in Lynx either.
