I using a laptop to play my networked music. I use a Turtle Island USB soundcard to extract a SPDIF signal that then goes to my ARCAM AVP700 (and uses the ARCAM's internal DAC). The problem is that, in order to use Zone 2 (for the backyard speakers), I need to send an analog signal to the ARCAM pre as well. But, the PC only seems to let me output to 1 soundcard. Is there any way to activate 2 soundcards on the PC?
Or, does anyone know of an inexpensive USB card that will output both analog and digital at the same time?
Any other ideas?

I'll explore them.
Should be able to output both analog and digital (coax s/pdif) at the same time (because it has an internal DAC), though I personally have never tried it.
Waveterminal U24 allows you to output both analog and digital at the same time. It works very well.
If I am not wrong, you can have up to 4 Apple airport express downloading at the same time from your PC or laptop.
