Thanks to Ralph for his answer to my buzz problem a few threads below, I isolated a couple of 6sn7s that are definitely below snuff. Since it's tax return time, where better to invest my refund? So, with an eye toward the biggest bang for the buck, what would fellow inmates choices be for:1) The 6SN7's in my MA-1 Mklls
2) The 12AT7s in my MP-3
3) The 12AU7s In my MP-3
4) The 6SN7's in my MP-3Thanks in advance!

I could offer you many suggestions for 6SN7's in the amps. What I prefer is to use several different 6SN7's.
After around a dozen different configurations, I prefer Tung-Sol VT-231 in v1 and Sylvania 6SN7W in v2. These two tubes in these positions are a must for me. Not too much or too little of anything. Just music.
RCA grey glass ane nice to finish off the rest.
me and Al agree: V1 - KR VT-231 ; V2 - 50's Ray WGT
I *like* the loudness button!
