I´d also like the main differences (besides the obvious power) between S30 and M60 ...

I am using an S-30 with Coincident Victories. Atma-Sphere and coincident are a great combo.
With respect to S-30 vs M-60, I feel and my dealer does as well that the besides the power, the S-30 is a better sounding amp. This applies only to the previous M-60's. The current ones are an improvement over the prevous M-60.
Be sure to set some cash aside for some good 6SN7's for the amps. They will take it to the next level.
I am currently using the S-30 with fairly sensitive speakers, about 94 db, in a small room, 15' by 12', and I have found the S-30 can produce surprisingly high spls. So I should think the Eclipse / S-30 combo in a small to medium size room could also be satisfactory.
For the past three years have been using the M60 MkII.2 with the Total Eclipse. More important than efficiency (which is high at 97db), the Total presents a nice flat 14 ohm load to the amp, OTL magic. Two years ago I put together a bedroom system with a Unison Research Unico integrated and the Partial Eclipse speakers. As you might expect, I've tried both amps with both sets of speakers. While I am partial to the Totals (no pun intended), the flat 10 ohm load of the Partial Eclipse is still extremely OTL friendly, and sounds great with the M60. I have not heard the S30, but I'm sure it would just be an SPL issue.
