I have an modified Atma-Sphere S30. Everything that I have read says that the speaker ohm load is the most important issue with this amp. I am currently using Coincident Victory speakers with a nominal load of 14 not dropping below 10 ohms. I have an opportunity to purchase a pair of 2 year old Klipschorn speakers. The web site says they have a nominal load of 8 ohms. The site does not state the lowest the speaker drops. Its sensitivity is 104 db at 1 watt, seems like an easy load to drive. Can anyone tell me will these speakers work with my amp? Thanks in advance...............Bob

I am new to OTL but at one time or another had every classic model Klipsch ever made. one watt drivein the khorn is enough to fill the room. They are very reveling so what ever you put in will show up. Cheers.
I've used Classic Audio Reproduction T3s which are 97 db / 8 ohms... the S-30 works fine with that. I imagine you'll do even better.
No problems here to match Khorns and the Transcendent Sound SE OTL.So unless your amp behaves very differently, I'd cerainly NOT pass an opportunity to get those speakers.
You shouldnt need more than about 5 watts to power the Klipschorns to very loud levels
